Privacy Policy
JujsyAlpha is a stock signal monitoring app. This policy describes exactly what the app collects, why, and what is done with it. It covers the iOS app and the JujsyAlpha web app.
What we collect
| Data | Why | When |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | To identify your account so your alert rules and subscription follow you between devices. | When you create an account. |
| An account identifier | A random id we assign when you sign up. Everything of yours — rules, devices, subscription — is stored under it rather than under your email. | When you create an account. |
| Notification device token | To deliver the push notifications you asked for. It identifies a device, not a person. | When you enable notifications. |
| Your alert rules and watchlist | To evaluate them against market data and notify you. | When you create them. |
| App version, build, device model, OS version | To reproduce problems you report, and to tell which build a bug is in. | With a problem report, and with usage events. |
| A screenshot, if you attach one to a problem report | To see what you saw. It is optional, never taken automatically, and only the image you pick is sent. | Only when you choose one and send the report. Deleted after 90 days. |
| Screen views and in-app actions | To see which parts of the app are used, so effort goes to the parts that are. Recorded against your account identifier, so we can tell one person using a screen ten times from ten people using it once. Batched and sent periodically, never per keystroke, and deleted after 90 days. | While you use the app. |
| Problem reports you write | To answer them. Whatever you type is sent as you typed it. | Only when you submit one. |
| Purchase status | To unlock alerts. Apple confirms the purchase and we record which plan, when it expires, and Apple's transaction reference so renewals and cancellations can be applied. No payment details ever reach us — Apple handles those and does not share them. | When you subscribe. |
What we do not collect
- No payment card details. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple and we never see a card number.
- No brokerage credentials, account numbers, holdings or trades. The app has no connection to any broker.
- No location, contacts, microphone or camera data.
- No access to your photo library. A problem report can carry a screenshot, but only one you pick yourself, one image at a time — the app cannot read the library and never takes a picture on its own.
- No advertising identifier. There is no advertising in the app and no third-party ad or analytics SDK.
Market data
Prices and indicators are computed from publicly available market data for a fixed list of listed companies. That data is about companies, not about you, and requesting a stock's chart does not tell us anything we store against your account beyond ordinary usage events.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. It is processed by services acting on our behalf:
- Google Firebase — sign-in and database, hosted on Google Cloud.
- Apple Push Notification service — delivers notifications.
- Apple — processes subscription purchases.
- Telegram — only if you have connected a Telegram channel to receive alerts.
If you ask to be an alpha tester
The form on our site asks for your name, the email address on your Apple Account, and your agreement to be contacted about testing the app. We store those, the date, and the exact wording you agreed to — so that a later change to the form cannot alter what you are recorded as having agreed to.
The Apple Account address is asked for because that is where TestFlight sends an invitation; it is used for that and to reply to you about testing, and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass any of it on. If you are accepted, your address goes into Apple's TestFlight so the invitation can be sent — Apple's own privacy policy covers what happens to it there.
Ask us and we will remove you from the list at any time, whether or not you have been accepted.
How long we keep it
Alpha tester details are kept while the alpha runs and are deleted when it ends, or sooner if you ask. Account data, alert rules and watchlists are kept until you delete your account. Usage event batches are deleted automatically after 90 days. Market data is unrelated to your identity and is kept on a rolling basis.
Two things outlive a deleted account, and we would rather say so than let you find out. The first is the record that an alert fired, which is kept without your account id attached — it is how we can tell that a notification we owed you was sent. The second is a one-way hash of your email address, kept only so the free first month cannot be claimed again by deleting the account and signing up with the same address. Neither can be used to contact you, and neither is shared.
Your choices
- Notifications — turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.
- Delete your account — Settings, Account, Delete Account. This removes your rules, watchlist, devices and problem reports. See above for the two records that are kept and why.
- Access or correction — email us and we will provide or correct what we hold.
Children
JujsyAlpha is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Not financial advice
JujsyAlpha reports what indicators have done. Nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and we are not licensed investment advisers.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially we will say so in the app before the change takes effect. Questions or requests: contact@jujsy.co.
